The Dog-On Water Ramp is portable, lightweight, and attaches to any dock or boat in just seconds and deflates for compact storage! No special hardware is required - just attach to structure with the ropes and through the holes on the deck platform. The Dog-On Water Ramp is easy on you and your dog. Many dogs can climb dock ladders or swim to shore, however, dogs are not anatomically designed to use ladders and although some do, this can cause muscle strains and injury to your dog over time. Getting out of the water is as easy as walking up a bank at the edge of the water. Floatation tubes act as a natural guide for your dog allowing them to swim forward until their feet hit the ramp.

Components & Materials of the dog boat ramp:

• DECK- The deck has four holes in the leading edge for ease of attachment to various structures. It provides a convenient and safe platform for the dog to launch and return from a retrieve as well as “shake off” and rest. The surface texture and ridges help provide traction and the through-holes allow water to run off making it less slippery. The rotationally molded deck is a UV resistant, plastic resin product that’s easy to maintain. Rotationally molded plastics feature tremendous stress crack resistance and impact strength. Some waviness is normal. Its hollow interior and uniform exterior wall thickness makes it ridged yet lightweight.
• EXTERNAL TUBE FABRIC- Three colors to choose from. Brightly colored Royal Blue, Forest Green, or Scarlet Red will compliment popular boat decors. The tube fabric materials are 18 oz PVC coated polyester and have been used for years on inflatable boats because of its durability, abrasion resistance, and tolerance for UV. To keep it looking sharp, simply clean with mild soap and refresh its shine with a liquid vinyl treatment.
• INTERNAL BLADDER AND VALVE- Superior 100% polyurethane, RF (radio frequency) welded bladder was selected over other butyl and PVC film materials due to its amazing strength and long life. RF welding seams two layers of polyurethane together without the use of heat so all of the original properties of the material are maintained. The Halkey Roberts valve is very reliable and easy to inflate and rapidly deflate. A standard tire valve with a short length of clear tubing is provided with the filler valve to inflate the tubes.
• RAMP- “Superman mesh” not only is the name but the description as well for this tough 18 oz rubberized coated fabric. This negatively buoyant mesh submerges readily and easily allows water to drain through. The spacing of the dual threads in the mesh provides traction without the possibility of having a dog’s claw being caught and injured. Galvanized, corrosive resistant, steel tubing is used for the spreader bar. Virtually indestructible unless you burn it.
• STRAPS AND BUCKLES- 1" Nylon strapping, known for its strength and resistant to sun rot, provides the means for attaching the deck to the flotation tubes and ramp. Straps threaded through tough Nexus ladder-locks, made of Delrin, keep the deck and tubes aligned and snug to each other.
• ZIPPERS AND STITCHING- Big #10 nylon, YKK brand, self-repairing zippers are used to access the bladder. These quality zippers easily handle the air pressure in the bags. Ramp components may be attached via heavy-duty Velcro, snaps or zippers to the inflated tubes. The thread is industrial-strength, sun-resistant polypropylene. All seams having any stress on them are doubled stitched for added stability.
• ROPE GRIPS Cal/Grip is an automated rope tie down system that eliminates tying knots. These are self-locking devices that hold rope firmly in place. Made from premium materials the grips are non-corrosive and rust-resistant. One pair with two ropes, is provided for attaching the deck to various structures where applicable.
• No special hardware required, simply attach to structure with the ropes and through the holes on the deck platform
• Includes no slip Cal/Grips that ropes slide through that may be attached with appropriate fasteners through various thickness of boats
• Inserted into the Cal/Grips that can’t come loose. You won’t feel like you are about to capsize!
• No sharp edges or parts to catch a claw or paw
• It's designed to be mounted even with suction cups if mounting hardware is not desired (not included)
• The dog platform floats and is independent from the boat or dock keeping the ramp height consistent
• The ramp is constructed from a flexible "superman mesh" fabric that is virtually indestructible unless you burn it
• The deck is made from a molded plastic resin with traction ridges and drainage holes
• No use of carpet that will get waterlogged, mildew and rot
• Tubing and all fasteners are stainless or galvanized steel
• Your dog's weight is supported by the floatation keeping your boat stable; very little energy is transferred to the boat
